No doubt the only test match was full of drama and trill despite of follow-on enforced on Ireland in 2nd innings Irish batsmen show some serious nerves and due to exceptional batting of Kevin O'Brien who scored 118 runs and becoming the only batsman of Ireland to score century in the test matches. Irish team put up a total of 339 in the second innings and gave target of 160 runs to Pakistan for win. players innings to mention here were by Ed Joyce who scored 43, Porterfield 32 Runs, Kevin O'Brien 118 & Thompson 56 Runs. Muhammad Abbas of Pakistan took 5 wickets and Muhammad Amir took 3 wickets.

In the chase of 160 Runs to Win Pakistani top Order again failed and lost some early wickets and lost 3 wickets for only 14 runs at that point it seemed like match is slipping away from Pakistan's hand and Ireland is going to make history by winning this only test match but the debutant Imam ul Haq displayed some outstanding batting skills and proved his selection to be right putting up a partnership of 126 runs with Baber Azam who got run out on 59. Imam ul Haq remained unbeaten at 74 and took Pakistan to 5 wickets Victory over Ireland. Final Score Card of the match is :-

Ireland            130  & 339 (f/o)

 Kevin O'Brien was awarded player of the match award. Pakistan with this win became the only team to win series against all test playing nation.

Pakistan's Team Top order didn't performed well in the first innings of the test match. Debutante Imam ul Haq didnt performed to the expectations. Asad Safique perhaps showed some class and temperament and scored an innings of 62 runs of 169 balls and Haris Sohail scored 31 runs. All rounder and 2nd debutante Fahim Ashraf remained the top scorer of the innings and made 83 runs of 170 balls. The leg spinner Shahdab Khan scored fifty with bat and due to these innings Pakistan managed to score 310 runs and declared innings. Start of Ireland innings was nor promising as 4 of the top order players got out on just 7 runs just Kevin O'Brien and tail ender Wilson showed some resistance against the Pakistani bowlers and scored 40 and 33 Runs respectively.
