Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, Pakistani opener Nasir Jamshed once agian failed to score (now the think tank of the team have to decide the opening position for the next crucial match, whether they want Sarfraz Ahmed in the team or they still want to give Nasir another chance). Ahmed Shehzad scored 93 runs and got run out couldn't reach the triple figure.

Other major contributions in the score are Harris Sohail scored 70,Sohaib Maqsood scored 45 runs, Misbah the captain scored 65 runs and Shahid Afridi scored quick 21 runs of just 7 balls. The total sum up score of Pak team was 339/6 in 50 overs.

In reply to the Pak team total of 339 team UAE showed some resistance and their some player like khurram khan , Shiaman Anwar and amjad javed scored 43,62 and 40 runs respectively. Sohail khan, Wahab Raiz and Shahid Afridi took 2 wickets each.

Pakistan won the match by 129 runs and got 2 important points on points table and grabbed 4th position. But the real bad news for Pakistan in match was that the Spear head of the pace attack of Pakistani Bowling Muhammad Irfan got injured in the match and just bowled 3 overs.
