Bangladesh won by 15 runs.
Bangladesh put up an upset in the Pool A by Knocking England out of the tournament. Bangladesh deams came true by first time reaching the Quarter finals. The inventors of the cricket game again failed to put up some show, very disappointing performance by England team.
England won the toss and invited the Bengali's to bat first they put 275 runs in 50 overs on the board. Mahmudullah the first Bangla batsman to score a ton (100) in World Cups well supported by the wicket keeper batsman Mushfiqe ur Raheem he scored 89 runs and Soumya Sarkar scored 40 runs.
At first this target look quite easy for the team like England but the Bengali's bowlers really bowled well and gave the English batsman's a very tough time. Ian Bell, Buttler and Chris Woaks showed some resistance aginst the Bengal's bowling (they scored 63, 65 and 42 runs respectively), it looked like English batsman's were playing against the experienced side. England only managed to score 260 runs and the whole team got out in the 49th over.
